On this podcast, I explore the history behind the people, events, and teams that we cheer for every week. DAC Award: The Fascinating History of the Heisman Memorial Trophy
The Heisman Memorial Trophy goes back to 1935 where a select group of people get to vote for the winner of the “Best College Football Player in the Country” I dive into the origins of the trophy, some of it’s most interesting winners and some schools who’ve been runner up many times, but yet to get a win. The most interesting winner by far was Ernie Davis and it’s just a shame that we never got to see him play in the NFL.

Every time Tennessee goes 5-0 or beats Florida, you will inevitably see the signs ‘Feels Like ’98’. Many times it’s from people don’t remember it at all. Well, the three men on this podcast attended the University of Tennessee and were on campus for the 1998 team. We felt every high, low and near heart attack. In this episode you will know what the season felt like from those who lived it.
